Dhul Hijjah: SATURDAY 03/09/16
Arafa: SUNDAY 11/09/16
Eid Al-Adha: MONDAY 12/09/16
Today, FRIDAY 2/9 marks the end the month of DHUL QIDAH, therefore, tomorrow SATURDAY 3/9 will be the first day of DHUL HIJJAH.
It is highly recommended to fast these 9 days as Prophet ﷺ, many of the companions and the Salaf used to do.
Make sure you and your families fast atleast the day of ARAFA, which will be on SUNDAY 11/9.
The reward is that Allah wipes away one year of previous sin and one year of future sins.
For anyone who intends to sacrifice you should refrain from cut the hair, cutting the nail and peeling skin from tonight after Maghreb until Eid, as per the authentic hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.
EID AL-ADHA will be on MONDAY 12/09.
May Allah give us the opportunity to get closer to him in these 10 days.

ঈদের ছুটি মনে হয় সপ্তাহের মাঝে পড়ে গেল (সোম,মঙ্গল,বুধ)। তবে সরকার চাইলে বৃহস্পতিবার বিশেষ বিবেচনায় ছুটি ঘোষণা করতে পারে,পরে অন্য এক বন্ধের দিন খোলা রাখতে পারেন। (গত ঈদের মত,তাহলে খুব ভাল হয়)।

Moulana Ataullah Hossaini(BOURA MOULANA) occupies a unique place amongst the earliest sages of chunati, He is in the trend of sufism of the respected Mirjis and forefathers of hajarat moulana Abdul Hakim, This luminous star of spirituality earnrd name and fame in the later part of the eighteenth centuary, It is assumed that he attented the colorful coronation ceremony of Sultan Abdul Hamid of Turkry in respond to his invitation.
Now I want to revert to the mainstream of chunatis lineage.As I have earlier mentioned that Moulana Amjad Hossain Khandaker was the knowingly first man who set foot on the soil of chunati, He was en- route from Gour, Gohira or fateyabad to chunati. His third descendant(Sadat hossain khandaker, Shah Alam khandaker, Ibrahim khandaker) Hajarat Moulana Ibrahim khandakar was the founding father of a number of noted family lineages of chunati Hajarat Molana Sukur Ali Munsef(r), hajarat moulana mufti Yusuf, hazarat Haidar Ali ( father of munshi Khairullah) are among the outstanding personalities of his posterity,Existing record shows that Ibrahim khondakers house/ kitchen was very much adjacent to the big mango tree of chunati main Idgah.
With the demise of hajarat Ibrahim khandaker the title khondakar also withers away ushering in Sikder clan. Khondaker purports a surname tinged with religious fervour After that we mark a transition from religious trend to wordly affairs as Sikders werw more involved in landed property and other mundane subject matter. The revival of spirituality is again clearly palpable with the emergence of hazarat Sukur Ali munsef( the grea grandson of moulana Ibrahim khandoker. after a long period,Moghuls occupied ctg in 1665. The sikders were the employee of mughal monsubdar Fazal Ali khan PATHAN. Sikders were pre- eminent in education at that time of miserable state of literacy. They used to receive one fourth of revenue from moghul monsobdar to maintain the expenses,

An outstanding student of Chunati Madrasha Prof. Dr Sabbir Ahmad ex Dean Chittagong University has breathed his last ( Innalillahi......Rajeon). Janaza 5 Sept. 1:30 pm at Chandgaon R/A masjid in Ctg.
Mentionable as a scholar in Islamic Thoughts he was closely associated with historical Siratunnabi SWM Mahfil Chunati. He was found very much fascinated about Chunati recalling his childhood memories of maternal obligations.

My apologies. I couldn't comprehend it bhai. The use of the word 'cynical' about me is out of the context and is not true at all. However, perhaps I attempted earlier to inform you in one of my previous postings that my humble charity work usually revolve around my extended family members who really deserve for it and cannot express their needs to others for many reasons, one of such reason has been beautifully referred to by Allah in the Qur'an when He says: "(Charity is) for the poor who are confined in the way of Allah-- they cannot go about in the land; the ignorant man thinks them to be rich on account of (their) abstaining (from begging); you can recognise them by their mark; they do not beg from men importunately; and whatever good thing you spend, surely Allah knows it."
